imports

In Ancient Egypt trade was a big part of many people’s lives. Egypt mainly traded with its neighbouring countries. For example from Cyprus they imported copper and ivory. Here are some more places Egypt traded with and what they imported.
-From Syria and Palestine they imported things like horses, cattle, small livestock, cedar wood, silver, copper and valuable minerals.
-From Nubia they imported gold, minerals, building stone, ebony, ivory, ostrich feathers and eggs.
-From Aegean they imported Minoan and Mycenaean oil containers.
-From Punt they imported myrrh and incense.
