Egyption houses were often made of bricks that were crafted from mud, straw, and stone. the floors in ancient egypt were just very packed earth. Houses in ancient Egypt often had a hole in the roof wich was used like a vent to bring in the cool air. the houses in ancient egypt were fairly small, but the pharoahs house was a completely diffrent story. it had plenty of amazing rooms. In the summer, egyptions used the roof as an extra room because it was too hot in the house.
